The world record is 60.1 which is only a second faster than what Cas run. So im guessing you assume that anyone who runs a 45 second 400m can either run in the 60s for the 500m or break the world record.

No i don't think anyone who runs 45 can break the world record. But only a fool considers the world record anything remotely hard when measured against other world records. The 100.17 is extremely weak in comparison. It's also held by a 45.4 guy, imagine that.
I will agree that the 400h and the 500 mirror eachother well. Clement the year he broke the indoor wr in the 400 could have broken 60, and probably 59.
