Where are the race results? I went to the www.ushalf.com site and no results there that I could see. Perhaps I just missed them.

So why can't those who paid their $50 buck and ran the race form a class action lawsuit against the guy?
hey Jscranton!
That 1:17:30 is me from January. I ran 1:15 last July. And I was hoping to run 1:12 - 1:13 on Sunday. Anyway, that's not a big deal. After 6 or 7 miles it was clear that the distance was going to be way short, and also that I had a very comfy lead, so I came home very easy. If it had been the full distance I'd have definitely been 9 or 10 mins slower.
Just wanted to clarify - I think the lead cyclist at Sunday's US half did a good job - we correctly followed the course as shown on the website, it's just that the course was about a mile and a half too short, I think. Whoever pretended to measure it did a very poor job. And I didn't see more than two or three markers along the way - all of these in the very first few miles, and all incorrectly placed to be either miles or km.
$40 for an 11.5-mile "half marathon" is just a joke. I don't recommend this race to anyone.
Thanks Tom for chiming in with honesty. Congrats on the win.
Did you win anything for your efforts?
The course was accurate. My time was close to what I have been running........10 years ago.
Tom,
I hope you didn't interpret any disrespect towards you in my post. When I saw the results, I just went looking for other times from the leaders and found yours first. I was hinting that a ten minute drop from 1:17 to 1:07 would more likely be from a short course. Certainly not your fault. Congrats on the win; good luck running 2:12

If anyone starts a class action law suit against the race director I will join in so please post it here I'm sure there are many people that would like their money back. The race was a rip off.
We're filing in Cali superior court tomorrow. Our lawyers are Keller & Keller. To get your name on the lawsuit, send $50 to the following address:

You think ANYONE is gonna cut a $50 check to "Jimmy the Greek"?
You're right. Send cash, it's easier. Thanks!
LOL ...
Here is a Class Action Law Firm in San Francisco that can
help and it is FREE for a consultation. How many others
would join a class action lawsuit against the race director?
I trained reeeeeeealy hard for this race and had a nice new sign all made up special for the occasion. I ran all the way along the waterfront, but didn't fancy the look of that bridge so I just waited in the bushes for an hour until the runners started to come back.
How dare this guy take away from my moment of glory by having a short course! I have a reputation to maintain you know! I guess my PR from this race doesn't count now.
i want a recount tooooo! suing is a pretty silly idea. you sue domino's when you get a less than advertised good pizza in over 30 min??? i like the deal i'll pay $50 to jimmy the greek so i can hope to get the $35 i paid back from the race.
HAhahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha
have i got a deal for u....
Running doesn't need this Ryan A-hole going from town to town like a snakeoil salesman peddling his phony races and pocketing some runner's hard-earned cash. Bump this to the top. All runners should get on the MF's case.
