Yes. I was treated like worse than a cur dog. The x-ray tech sardonically remarked I must have been a runner. Yes, I was for 16 years. Did not find out about it until I had an MRI. The "doctor" did not do a biopsy, nor did he say anything other than," you have had this since you were a child." Geez. Since I've had everything MRI'd and x-rayed before (auto accident with all over injuries) you would have thought it would have been noticed. This "doctor" did not tell me anything. I was in so much pain because of it I went to the emergency room. Only to be insulted by that doctor on duty that I was there to obtain drugs. I had brought all of my medications and the nurse counted them. Then this puke had to say that I was looking for drugs. I told him I wanted an MRI of my right femur- that something was wrong. He had to go ahead and say I was a druggie looking for drugs. I hopped off the table, shook his hand and said I would never come back. He begged my husband to have me come back in or he would be fired. I couldn't get that lucky.
Hopefully, you are not in the state of Floriduh. We have the worst doctors- they're nightmares. They never give you a diagnosis, prognosis or tests when you know your body is having problems. They just want to taunt you with being a "druggie." I personally think they went into medicine so they could humiliate people. I don't know if I have a benign or malignant femur tumor. Stay away from Southwest Florida (Cape Coral or Fort Myers) if you need a doctor who has a better bed/table side manner than these wankers. I am a disabled veteran who gets even worse treatment at the VA here. If someone knows of a great, if not good, orthopedic surgeon to recommend- I'm all ears. Thank you.
