It is in 30 minutes and the entries look good if these teams actually race...
Oklahoma State: Thomas Farrell, Tyler Payton, Raul Botezan, German Fernandez
Stanford: John Sullivan, Amaechi Morton, Dylan Ferris, Elliott Heath
What you think?

12 Farrell and Sullivan seem about evenly matched on the 1200 based on PRs, but Farrell had a much superior xc season.
400 Morton runs in the 400H what Payton runs in the 400 flat, so that should be where Stanford would take a lead.
800 Ferris is stronger on paper than Botezan, could open up another second, maybe a a tad more.
1600 Heath gets swallowed up, unless his middle legs give him 3-4 seconds. If so, Fernandez catches up, but uses too much energy to do so and Heath holds on for the win (he can run well, after all, since it isnt NCAAs)
If this race actually happens, Im surprised it slipped under the radar. German hasnt raced on the track in almost a year!
I bet at least one team flakes and doesnt run an 'A' squad...most likely OK St
The Ok State Women's team was a DNS, Stanford women won. Wouldnt be surprised if the men were also no shows
i bet all parties involved DO run. need to get a qualifier early on the relays. no one wants to leave it to conference or a last chance meet.
Ended up a great race, even tho Ok State didnt race, between Stanford and Arkansas as they get the first 2 Autos to NCAAs.... Stanford moved up one spot each leg to win on an superb 3:55 anchor from Heath. It is a shame Arkansas cant have Ulrey anchor this Razorback team. Frosh Cantero handed off in first and may be their anchor by seasons end.
Stan Splits: John Sullivan (SR) (4) 2:57.01 Amaechi Morton (JR) (3) 45.98 - 3:42.99 Dylan Ferris (JR) (2) 1:50.47 - 5:33.46 Elliott Heath (JR) (1) 3:55.77 - 9:29.22
Arkansas Splits: Bryan Cantero (FR) (1) 2:54.78 Chris Bilbrew (SR) (1) 47.20 - 3:41.98 Chuol Dey (SO) (1) 1:48.70 - 5:30.67 Duncan Phillips (JR) (2) 4:00.19 - 9:30.85
Abdi Hassan of Arizona split 2:55 in the opening leg.
Stanford may be better off with 3:58 miler Ferris at the 12 and frosh Tom Mallon on the 800 (depending on how good of shape he is in)
Do you know what the splits were for the Stanford women??

Tonn was 4:44, I think it was 54, 2:11 in the middle. Lead off was, 3:21 if I remember correctly
Cantero was a good pick up for Arkansas with Ulrey on the way out.
So Arizona have acquired 1:42 800m runner Boaz Lalang's younger brother. Lawi Lalang split sub-4:00 in this DMR.
It does hurt Arkansas not have Ulrey this year for indoors. Cantero will end up being awesome tho. Maybe he will anchor their DMR by seasons end, but Phillips (?) ran a perfectly paced race to get their team into NCAAs. 59, 1:59, 3:00, 4:00 solo out front. Sure he might lack the lethal kick to win it, but I have a feeling Oregon, Stanford, and Arkansas will be the podium teams this year (unless Okie State runs, of course).
Heath's 3:55 right now is scary fast...wonder if he can hold on for 2 more months, plus outdoors.
Heath is a sub 13:30 guy, 3:55 for 1600 with a running start isnt that crazy, especially with someone to chase.
As for Arkansas, 4:00 is great to get you to NCAAs, but a guy who cant go at least 3:58 full mile open is going to get dusted at NCAAs when all the teams have run at least 9:33

1:42.95
It's still 1:42. Anyway, little Lalang followed up his 3:59 last night with a 7:55 3K today. And that's 7:55 *low*, if you're feeling pedantic. Were these races the debut of a future NCAA champion?
Heath could be on a way to a great season! Wow, what a start!

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
