Any reviews on either of these? I just picked up a pair of the 26's for cheap and was thinking about picking up a pair of the 27's. Ill use one of them for everyday shoes then the other for running everyday. Im a 6'1 155lb, neutral with slight supination mid-foot strike runner if that makes any difference. Im also just getting back from an achilles injury too if that matters at all...
Almost identical besides the color. Go for the cheaper pair.
There is actually a difference between the two shoes. The 27 has increased cushioning in the forefoot and is a much more comfortable shoe.

You're thinking of the 25 vs 26. The 27 actually has Cushlon foam in the forefoot and a Zoom Air until in the heel (as opposed to a full length Zoom Air unit) giving it a much plusher feel. It also has a more shallow heel - so it does not fit orthotics well.
I ran in both and really couldn't tell any difference.

I liked the 26 way better. I mean I still run in the 27's now because I can't find the 26's anywhere and they still work but just feel more cushy and wide for me.
Anyone who can't tell the difference needs some new feet.
Peg+ 27 is a lot softer with the Cushlon midsole, but the combination of the softer foam and lack of air unit in forefoot meant it was less durable for me. Very comfortable though, more so than the 26 in my opinion.
I've owned Pegasus 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28's. There was also a design in the top of the shoe between the 26 and the 27 that has carried over to the 28. The older models laced through webed straps in the middle of the shoe. The also had slight moon shaped cuts between eyelets which seemed to make the top of the shoe flex differently. As a result the 27 & 28 give me a blister on the top of my foot at the back of my big toe. I would gladly give up the improved cushioning of the 27 & 28 for the old top design or better yet, perhaps Nike could put the old top design on the lower portion of the 28 when they introduce the Air Pegasus 29.
