Didn't Eastern Michigan beat them at the beginning of the season.
Plus they only need to peak for one race a year at the Candian University Championships unlike in the NCAA when you have to peak for at large points, conference championships, regionals and the NCAA Championship.
If they got dropped into the NCAA Championship and didn't have to do what everybody else has to do all season long then maybe they could finish in the top 20 with a one race peak but could they handle an NCAA season and then expect to finish top 20... that is very different story.
