I've not had the greatest year training/racing wise and my mileage has been low - real low so having to build up from scratch again
Due to family reasons my running had to take a back seat this year while the first 3 months were ok From April onwards running has been bare minimal
The next goal is a marathon in April i got an entry as i deferred this years entry. In the past i have got up to 50-60 mpw so do hope to get back up there although currently i'm at 20 mpw so i have some building to do
I'm reading what i can about lydiard as for me when i run more miles i do race better well up to half marathon anyway. But there is so much info out there it sometimes gets confusing
So initially i would want to get back there probably a mixture of 60 and 90 min runs and poss a 2hr run at the weekend.
Used to run with a HRM and do most runs under 70% but haven't worn mine in a long time
What i am looking for is how to plan out my running
Should i not wear the HRM anymore and run by feel and what types of runs should i do in the week
I probably have loads of questions save them for later
I am 42 and female and not really a fast runner but want to get faster
