so...you're saying you've run for three days, and you're trying to race? up the mileage and we'll talk in march. on a side note: just run.
Here's the only racing advice that you'll ever need.
If at the beginning of the race (first mile) you do not feel like you are going way too slow then you are going way too fast.

I took your advice and i actually think i ran pretty decently. I am surprised i didn't die at the 2 mile mark, considering I've only been running for 2 days. I ran approx. 27 minutes....not good, but i am proud of it as my first race time with 2 days training.
