The ones they use for college meets, the 5k or 8k one? Anyone know what it's like? How slow/fast is it?

bump
I'm not from the bay area, but have run both the 8k and 10k courses there for Pac-10 and USATF Club Champs.
Not really a fan personally. It could be ok for a small meet, but there are a lot of narrow and windy parts to the course. Also, there is a portion where the course goes up an extremely short, extremely steep hill that does not really make any sense. Also, the horse track portion can be interesting depending on how wet it is. When it's dry it's bad because it's really sandy.
Overall it's a challenging and different course then you see in a lot of places, so some people may enjoy it for these factors, but I did not enjoy it.
I've heard that the horse track portion is annoying because you sink into the dirt. How slow do you think the course is compared to a road race type of course (or even track)?
Looks like a good one. 4 disc rating out of 5. Its definitely on my wish list.
funny..
