When it comes to dating, OP, you should find a woman who likes to live the same lifestyle as you. That way, there are no outside expectations. You SHOULD pay for her on the date, but it should not be expected that the date be anything beyond either of your means. You can have the same amount of fun with that person no matter what you're doing. Everything else is a status symbol, for you and for her.
