If you are doing hill repeats towards the end part of your base phase or right after it, do you lose any benefits whenentering into competition phase? I'm just thinking practice makes perfect, and you will obviously be doing some hilly runs, but does the lack of specific work hurt you at all? I'm not sure what race and i'm training for as of now, i'm sure it won't be overly hilly, but would it be valuable to keep a hill workout here or there in the specific workout phase of your training?
