Stay positive - kick that tumor's a$$!!

Serena Burla is one of the toughest runners that I have ever seen compete. There is no doubt that if anyone will take this challenge on full force, it's her.
A lot of people are behind you 100% Serena! Keep on keepin' on! Thoughts and prayers from the Colorado Springs running community.

Best wishes. Hope to see you racing again soon

Wishing you the best and knowing you'll be running fast again soon!
Serena, thought of you a lot on my run today. I think your getting surgery today and I hope that everything goes well and wishing a quick and easy recovery for you. I put in a few extra miles for you.
All the best Serena! Hoping for a quick recovery.--Patrick from Columbia
Serena had her surgery yesterday and is recovering. According to her coach, the surgery went well. "They got it all out," he said.
She'll be recovering at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for several days. Go to MSKCC.org to find out how to send a card of a gift.

That is wonderful news! I wish her a speedy recovery. Can't wait to see her back out on the roads and track.
That's absolutely fantastic news. I was a little worried with the record snow falls that either a flight or a surgeon would have been delayed!
Rest well and recover quickly, you're in might thoughts. :-)
Bump. Desiree Davila interview said that Serena is running NYC marathon. Confirmed at http://www.ingnycmarathon.org/americans.htm as well as that won a 10k on 7/24/2010.
She's apparently doing Philly Half next weekend first.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
