Good on Dave for taking the gamble of moving to the States to further his running.
While he was a promising young runner in Oz he would be in a tough situation if he'd stayed home. If he chose to pursue the sort of schooling he is getting in the States he would have had to cut way back on his commitment to running. For you guys who don't realise, our university system has no running programs.
He was not quite at a level where he would have been able to be a full time runner over here.
He now has the times to command some attention and can fully pursue a career in the sport.
Oh yeah, last time I checked he was said to be 48kgs. I think that is about 105-106lbs in American.
