Brooks Green Silence - Reviews and Sizing?

I did a search, but there doesn't seem to be much out there on the new Brooks Green Silence. I currently train in the Launch, so the Silence seems like a good companion shoe for races over 10k and workouts. I'll probably order a pair later this week, but I had a few questions for those who already have a pair:

1. What is the sizing like? I wear a 10 in the Launch (and usually wear 10 in other brands/shoes), but the sizing for the T5/T6 seemed to be all over the place. Does the Silence fit true to size, or is it small like the T5/T6?

2. I like the "full contact" outsole and midsole, and wonder if someone could describe the ride of shoe. It seems like it would be ideal for longer distance races and workouts and not as "responsive" for 5ks. Any opinions?

size should be same as shoe size.

Niiiice ride. Walks a little funny with slight bump under the forefoot, but runs really good.

The upper mesh is soft and flexible. very nice shoe

I ordered them before getting injured. So I haven't had the chance to break them in yet. I did run for 70 seconds the other day (before seeing I wasn't ready to be back yet) and can at least tell you they fit true to size. I am a size 10 btw.

I always had to wear a 12 in the T6, and I would say an 11.5 in the Green Silence is bigger than a 12 in the T6. My only issue with the Green Silence fit is the funky lacing system - I like the idea except it is hard to get the last set of eyelets laced so that it snugs the heel without cutting into the top of your ankle as the tongue (such as it is) has no padding whatsoever. I do like the wraparound sock fit. Ironically, I think I am only going to use them with a somewhat thicker sock, although the fit is nice enough otherwise so I think one could safely run without socks at all. It has a really fantastic upper.

I hope to God that the Green Silence proves to be more responsive and firm than the mushy Launch. If I is, I'll just end up training in it.

The sizing runs big and wide, so size down 1/2 to a full size (from what you normally wear with the T6s).

I wear size 12 in Brooks normally and the 12 I tried on was too big. I went with an 11.5.
