Daughter received a Nike Sport Band watch for Christmas. We've tried to calibrate it three times now on a marked mile of bike path and still can't get a useable run (grossly underestimates the distance) for calibration. The sensor doesn't seem to be picking up her footstrike consistently.
She doesn't wear Nike shoes, and is using the little shoelace toggle velcroed to the top of her shoe to house the sensor. Could this be the problem? Or are these things just useless? I've searched the Nike site for more info and am not finding answers. Anyone with a similar experience?
