If you not had done 2:30-2:40 marathon workouts in TRAINING, you probably would have broken 2:20.

You guys are so foolish. You could go run a 2:04 right now if you felt like it. All you have to do is move your legs fast enough. It's freakin easy, gosh!
The key is to REALLY relax... as the trainer injects your ass with PED's.

true dat. Gerry Lindgren broke 2 hours for the marathon by going out in sub 4 minute mile pace.
It is true. I have done it many times. When I relax I get sleepy. When I get sleepy, I fall asleep. When I sleep, I dream. In my dreams I run the world record. I bet you have too. We just have to believe in our dreams.

I ran 2:32 at the NYC Marathon but admittedly I was tense and nervous. If I relax, can I run sub 2:04? The front page quote has led me to believe this is the missing ingredient. I will let you know how it goes.
your joke is half joke, half pointing out you ran a 2:32. hate to tell you, that's not good. You are a terrible runner and should give up your dreams now before you embarrass yourself any further.
Some people on this thread are very stupid. You could drop a couple of minutes off your time by relaxing.
You want to focus on running fast not hard like Wejo says in his article "Why I sucked in college". Maybe you should actually read it. It has some good advice.
