To any of you competitive runners out there in the NEC, I think it's time we start taking this a little more serious. Any of you who feel the same and want to help out our conference instead of shit talking it go here.

Obviously the tread starter here is a troll himself, a runner from bobby mo sure, but a troll none the less.
nobody likes you, leave our thread noob. and dont try to pretend you are a competitive runner in the NEC
Its aight Jobe, we don't want your bitchassness on this thread anyway, and to answer your question Roger, this is the continuation of last years real thread to talk about gettin that NEC Glory Hole.
how about that action at the preview meet guys and gals? Truly a preview of what's to come or was it just a chump show?

a chump show. bobbymo and PA weren't there and we all bobbymo will shit on everyone come the real Big Dance
If this is a runner from RMU SHUT UP! Your top runner ran a 27:45 on a flat course in Ohio.
Exactly why this thread is so terrible. RMU guys running times many women could run, and then running off their mouths about how shitty they are.
It will be very funny to see the bobby mo kids finish between 30th and 100th at the conference meet. Sure would like to see their team finish last as well, but they may be hard with a couple of the other shit teams out there.
If your truly looking for good discussion...here's a few observations for discussion
It seems LIU decided to pick up a distance runner as they had the second overall finisher in the race this weekend at QU...does he have a shot at the individual crown in October?
All the teams in the NEC (who would could make a difference in team scoring) were there except SFU. They ran at a fast course in Buffalo so hard to extrapolate much from that meet, even though the course at QU is definitely a bit quick as well. Regardless it seems they aren't the team they were last year.
And what about QU? Who knows where they would of finished yesterday had Klauber and Roark run. But even with those two can they still be a contender for the title this year? SHU has gained ground from last year as have Monmouth with Forgach back from a red shirt year, and CCSU without Sanderson still has a strong group with two in the top 6 yesterday. Still can't call a clear favorite as to this years favorite for the men's team title going in (except Bobby Mo of course...we all know they will be victorious and were all just trying for second place)
As far as the Ladies Big Dance goes....really can't see anyone beating QU women. They looked way too strong up front of the race and pretty much all of the individual contenders were at the meet yesterday, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the same team score at NEC's in a little over a month.
just some points:
In case you missed it Klauber and Roark did run. They just weren't good.
And I think that you could find 2 clear favorites to contend for the NEC crown, and they are SFU and SHU. Not knowing how fast the course at UB was SFU still put in a great effort with 5 guys under 26:50. SHU also put a great effort in running 5 guys in the top 20 (team scoring wise) yesterday (also without German???), where the most anyone else had was 3 for central and 2 for anyone else that mattered. So yes, a lot of teams have a strong 2 up front, so the race will be run with the 3-5 guys. And right now SHU and SFU's 3-5 guys are the best.
i guess if were going to be optimistic for QU maybe Dinnan, Roark, and Klauber were just supposed to do a tempo run or something. Those guys can run faster then 27:41, 27:54, and 28:04...
I'm still not counting them out completely of the hunt...only time will tell of course
Who does a tempo run when you are racing the Pre-NEC meet on YOUR OWN HOME COURSE?? Sorry, I don't buy that excuse. You can do a tempo run on Thursday if you are training through the meet. And these guys are not national-caliber runners trying to save themselves for late November, ie Nationals.
I'm not saying any of them are national caliber runners...just have been top NEC guys in xc and track in the past...I just didnt understand their performances...not giving an excuse, just questioning why. 28 minutes on that course...shouldn't happen even on a bad day for those two. I guess we will know in about a month and half.
Klauber was up front for awhile and then fell back, he seemed pretty sick in the chute so maybe he had some sort of stomach bug. Same for Roark, he was maybe top 30 for awhile then also went backwards, so maybe the team has a lot of guys with illness right now.
ive got money that the new kenyan from liu wins by 40+ seconds
um yeah i am a runner from RMU and i have no idea who those people are that are posting stuff about RMU but it's no one in our top seven. and the course in Ohio was not flat had tons of hills!!! but the course we are running this week is in ohio and is flat. so we will see.
I hope you have success this season Arthur, and I am disappointed in those from your team who come on here and run their mouthes.
listen up mr. leathers, how are we sure you arent the one posting as bobbymo and trying to cover your tracks?
