Saw him win the Navy Invite. He pulled away hard the last 2K.
Wonder if he can qualify for an indi to NCAA XC?

It'd be great to see Hanko get an indi to NCAA representing the Patriot League. Maybe Navy can get a team bid if they can keep progressing. I'm interested to see what teams can do at Paul Short in a couple weeks. Bucknell, Colgate, Lafayette, Lehigh, Army, and Navy all on the same course should be fun.

Why would you predict Lehigh to beat Bucknell. McClimon quit and Kosgei isn't impressing. Meanwhile, Bucknell is going toe-to-toe with Duquesne in a dual meet on Duquesne's home course. Duquesne's Stolar (29:36 10k pr) beat Bucknell's Huebner by just 9 seconds.
Sorry if you missed my earlier posts. I'll explain, the rankings are as if the teams finished based on the times run through this point in the season. Not taking into account anything but the raw data. Not very accurate early in the season but by the end of the season pretty much everyone has run on equally fast courses and it becomes more reliable.
Yea I def agree with "look." Bucknell is lookin real good w. its top 3 returning, while Lehigh lost its top 2. I can't see Lehigh being above 5th. I also see Holy Cross as being 6th.
Holy Cross looked better this weekend out at the Catholics only race.

Lehigh will be 5th at worst, 4th at best
Lafayette will be last. They are ok with that.
Navy is going to crush everyone
Has John Feinstein written a book about Patriot League XC yet?
Just Army vs Navy. He actually has a camp in the adirondacks next to my family's camp. Army's at Roy Griak this weekend expect a good performance.
Weekend action:
Army and Navy are at Roy Griak
American is at William Mary
Is it just me or is Navy racing an awful lot this year?
navy races an awful lot every year
American Army and Navy weren't that impressive this week. With 6/8 teams racing at Lehigh next week the picture will become clearer.
whoa peppermint...lafayette in 6th...

No way any team is gonna top Navy this year. The race for second will be between Bucknell and Army. Bucknell is much improved this year and got some excellent recruits. They also have a considerable amount of depth and I predict the beat Army for second in the Patriot League. Should be another exciting year. Navy has a great shot at qualifying for nationals.
Navy looked very very tough last weekend at Paul Short. When was the last time a Patriot League team placed that high at a major invite like Paul Short? Hanko looks ready to run with the big dogs.
Hanko ran really fast at Paul Short. I hope he is ready for that 10 k at regionals.what place does he need to get to go to Nats? I think the course they run in Maryland is flat so the times will be fast.

Navy looked really good at Paul Short, Army looked a lot better. Lehigh didn't look so good but I'm sure Evans Kosgie will improve as his foot heals. American didn't run any of the big guns at George Mason. Colgate kept two of their top 5 out at Paul Short. Lafayette is hoping the Patriot League reviews their request to make the race 1k.
Navy wins easy easy easy.

Bucknell would have had a chance with this team to win almost any other year. Navy is just too strong.
HC didnt look too impressive this weekend at Maine.
Colgate didnt have anyone up front at Paul Short, but have a feeling their top guy will be up there at patriots.
Lafayette has a pretty good frontrunner, but the drop off is pretty bad after that.

This is not true at all. I think this is one of the weakest stretches for the Patriot League I've ever seen. Any other year American would beat on Bucknell like an orange-headed stepchild. Bucknell guys please stop hyping yourselves. It is not winning you any respect in the conference. At least we know where they get this attitude from, Donner voting for himself every season for coach of the year.
and dont forget that bucknell still lost to army at paul short so lets not pretend this bucknell team deserves a trophy as of now
