Thankfully the 16 year old Lukas V. kept the 23 year old from winning NIN and getting the national record.
He's not 23. That Lukas kid is old for his grade, however.

Ok, being generous, he is at least 22. But, thanks for pointing out the white kid is a year older than normal for his grade.
Shouldn't Lukas be a JR technically in most states? JW
It doesnt really matter about Lukas, he's still better than anyone ever, regardless of grade.
Forgetting about how old Haile is for a moment, that is a weak squad Arkansas has this year. After reading that review I figured they sat out their top guys, but they didn't sit very many according to their roster.
These are the guys that they didn't run:
Omar Abdi
Drew Butler
Cameron Efurd
Rick Elliott
Scott Gillespie
Michael Golden
Duncan Phillips
Dylan Roberts
Dorian Ulrey
Ulrey is a great miler, but never been as good in cross and he's coming off a long track season. Abdi and Butler are also middle distance guys (and freshman). There isn't a guy on there besides Haile that should be in the top 50 at NCAA's and not more than 3 that could be in the top 100.
I'm actually an Arkansas fan, bu it looks like it's going to be a long season with this roster.
there team is actually pretty talented, although young. eric fernandez and elliot plus boyer should all be right up there, 5-7 though will be tough. they'll def need a guy or 2 to step up
