What will they be like?
Beyond awesome
I predict an ad campaign featuring the eightie's version of "Putting on the Ritz."
I just hope Nike can not simply change the spike plate color, move the swoosh around on the side and call it a \\\"new\\\" spike.

Relaxed full length plate, 6 pins (three lateral and three medial) Flywire upper with some minimal soft cush on the inside (think Harambee/Jasari), thin Cushlon mid-sole. It will be a white upper with a black plate, and black swoosh, outlined in gold.

Yeah, God forbid.

Why?
If it ain't broke, it is stupid to fix it.

The miler was a great spike. But that didn't stop Nike from making the Victory.
I think Nike should make a Ritz flat. Nike's flat selection is rather dismal, and they are really due for a new model (putting mesh over the streaks doesn't count). But if it has to be a spike, I'm envisioning something akin to the next-generation Eldoret II. A distance spike, but with a thin, full plate and a few well-placed permanent spikes, with a lightweight, flashy upper.
bring back the Kennedy, rename it to the Ritz, and change the colors. Boom!

Katana Racer, Streak XC2, Spider series from Japan, Zoom Marathoner (being renamed the Streak 3)... what more do you want?
Also, Eldo II was a 3/4 plate, not a full one, wasn't it?
Eldo II had a full length plate.
