Come on Tyson Gay, Travis Padgett, and Walter Dix and get healthy... I'll even cheer on Asafa Powell against Usain "?" Bolt!

So to some up: you don't like Jamaicans but you especially don't like Usain Bolt. Wow, I've learned so much from this thread.
I don't like Jamaicans (ROFLMAO), two of my closest friends are Jamaicans and I didn't say I hated or disliked anyone even Usain Bolt. In my opinion I think some of the Jamaicans are utilizing performance enhancing drugs including Usain Bolt and that is what I'm dislike...

Buuuuulllll-shiiiit.

Ok, I'll revise my former statement: you don't like to see Jamaicans winning.
You'd like us to think that you have a fair and balanced opinion on who's using PEDs but you're biased, it's as simple as that. Your comments on the Jeter thread make this abundantly clear.
CONGRATULATIONS Carmelita Jeter on your 10.64 and achieving the #1 End Of Year Ranking for 100m in 2009!! It's alittle odd how some posters are citing Carmelita Jeter's improvement and over looking Shelly-Ann Fraser.
Carmelita Jeter (pb)
2008.....10.97
2009.....10.64
diff......-.33
Shelly-Ann Fraser (pb)
2007.....11.31
2008.....10.78
diff......-.53
Jeter how suffered from many injuries in her collegiate and post collegiate career is finely for an extended period of time. Both of the ladies have improved greatly but even with Jeter's big drop its nothing compared to Shelly-Ann's mindboggling improvement.
On the men's side fingers are pointed at Tyson Gay's 9.69 with an injury; however, Usain Bolt's 9.58 (murder of the old pre-Bolt WR) in his second year at the distance is widely accepted LOL. It's accepted despite Usain Bolt's close friend and training partner recieving a ban for a illegal substance! Yes one of Usain Bolt's TRAINING PARTNERS!!!! If the Jamaicians are clean then Gay and Jeter are most definitely beyond spotless.

correction:
Jeter suffered from many injuries in her collegiate and poste collegiate career has finely been healthy for an extended period of time.
They are all doped to the gills. They don't have gills though.
yes,if Bolt is clean then Gay is clean.
If Bolt is dirty, gay is dirty.
Mapiv you are definitely infatuated with Vipam. You appear on most of his threads and then went as far as to use his posting name backwards, I'm sure you dream with a gleeful smile about him at night like sprinters dream of running like Tyson Gay and Usain Bolt.

Except that SAF was only 20 in 2007 and has not yet surpassed Ashfords best time, whereas Jeter was 28 in 2008 and had been running 11. something for years and has now all of a sudden surpassed Marion Jones and is catching up with FloJo.
Still a good point you make none the less. I presume you believe them all to be doped then?
"I presume you believe them all to be doped then?"
No, they can't be doped! Impossible! All girls running these times took something, but these girls must just be clean!!! Especially their improvement by 0.80 sec. within 3 years is completely normal.
LOL
The age factor isn't the single most important factor as many things can deter an athlete's progession:
injuries
lack of motiviation
coach/training facilities
not fully concentrating on running due to having to work
and Carmelita had many injuries in college and after which resulted in lack proper training base and post college training facility/partners was best for her after college. So age isn't a the MOST important factor when looking at an athlete's improvement without looking at other aspects. She could be using something just like all the other sprinters COULD be but her age isn't an issue considering her background.
Carmelita is finally with a better support group and finally healthy for extended period of time. I do believe that if Shelly Ann-Fraser is clean who had a massive -.58 imrprovement in 2 years compared to Carmelita's -.33 then Jeter definitely is squeaky clean.
Then we're sort of in agreement except that I think that if Jeter is clean then SAF is definitely clean.
You're still wanting to heavily imply that the Jamaican's are dirty and the US is clean.
just my opinion but here it is, in regards to Tyson Gay, Asafa Powell, Usain Bolt, Shelly-Ann Fraser, Kerron Stewart, Melaine Walker, and Carmelita Jeter etc:
athlete(s) I think are clean:
Tyson Gay
atheltes that maybe clean, leaning slightly towards clean:
Asafa Powell- JAM
Carmelita Jeter
Sherick Williams- JAM
maybe using perfromance enhancing drugs (ped), leaning slightly towards using:
Usain Bolt-JAM
Sherone Simpson-JAM
Darvis Patton
strongly think using ped:
Shelly-Ann Fraser-JAM
Melaine Walker-JAM
Kerron Stewart-JAM
Fascinating. Now how about you do a similar analysis of US, Kenyan and Ethiopian distance runners? This is a distance-oriented site after all.
Thanks glad you found it interesting but I won't do distance as this thread topic is Jamaican and U.S.A sprints and sprinters!
yeah, so Jeter is clean and Bolt isn't? Spare me.
Interesting Usain Bolt fact. In 2007 he set his a personal best of 19.75 on 24 Jun and ran his last tune race before the World Championships and posted a 10.03- 100m. So he was fine tuning and in shape when he ran his 10.03 pb in 2007 then in 2008 he busted a 9.69 and in 2008 9.58.
Usain Bolt- 100m pb
2007......10.03
2008.......9.69
2009.......9.58
diff.......-.45
I went back and researched in detail at all the athletes season and injuries and thus one changed has been made to my previous list. Carmelita Jeter jump hasn't been as dramatic but close enough and after reviewing her last 7 season and publicized injuries, here's my old and new list:
athlete(s) I think are clean:
Tyson Gay

Asafa Powell- JAM
Sherick Williams- JAM

Bolt dropped on my list as well because when he set his 10.03 in 2007 he was fine tuning and had just set his 200m pb of the season so the 100m was a true indication of his best that season. To go from 10.03 to 9.58 in 2 seasons is beyond normal for any elite athlete.
VIPAM you continue to prove my point. Totally biased. How can you not put Jeter at the bottom of such a list?
