Coming back from an injury and have started getting slight shin pain, I'm looking into getting a compession sock or sleeve to help fix this. Anyone used one of these before, any suggestions on what brand works best?

compression socks won't solve shin splints but i recommend Zensah leg sleeves.
Running more efficiently w/ a midfoot strike will help solve shin splits. You are most likely heelstriking cuz you are in big ole clodhopper 14 oz. shoes.
Dude....have you ever tried that? I used to run on my heels and never had shin problems. Learned to run on my forefoot and had several shin problems (although I became much faster).......best way to get over them (in my own opinion) was some shin strengthening exercises (calf raises but left heels up and out on way up)
