Surprised to find this in a daily national paper.
Surprised to find this in a daily national paper.
It's been in the 50's here at night, low to mid 70's daytime. Cold for July but nice, air conditioner rarely needs to run.
Good for running, bad for Al Gore and the Global Warm Mongers.
If Al calls another conference it will probably snow.
This scam is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people. It's just a big power grab with a side benefit of being an ATM for perps like Gore.
Gore created the internet and is involed int he climate change
you is a moRan or a troll. You are confusing weather for climate.
Go read what the academy of sciences says about climate change. Don't listen to politicians or talk radio.

I sure this will be ignored.
all ya gotta do is read the study and various synopses
"In any event, a first order conclusion from reading the published study:
•Models might be wrong.
•This historical analysis suggests that the modeling might be too optimistic (painting a too rosy picture about implications of increasing carbon levels), which is in line with what we are seeing in the real world."
in other words...based on historical models we may actually be facing a much worse threat than scientists have currently predicted
NOAA: U.S. Temperature and Precipitation Near-Average for June
July 10, 2009
The June 2009 temperature and precipitation for the contiguous United States were near the long-term average, based on records going back to 1895, according to an analysis by NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C.
The average June 2009 temperature of 69.5 degrees F was 0.2 degree F above the 20th Century average. Precipitation across the contiguous United States in June 2009 averaged 2.90 inches, which is 0.01 inch above the long-term value.
Al Gore was quoted as saying "Mother F***er!!"

Okay, now just wait a decade or so and see if the the average temps/rainfall change ... the whole climate change debate doesn't revolve around year-to-year localized weather, rather, long-term, planet-wide patterns. You can't just base your argument on data from one month.
OK, so is "long-term" 100 years, which supports man-made warming, or is it 2000 years (or longer), which doesn't?
No surprise that their models dont work.
People who don't believe in global warming probably won't regardless of whatever is put in front of them, but for those of you who would like to learn about it, this is a short playlist that addresses the issue from a non-biased point of view.

The narrator has a distinctly Euro accent, and nothing spawned from that vast socialist wasteland has any credibility.
Whatever that said about melting in Siberia has to be patently false, because if that were going on Sarah Palin's hawk-like monitoring of Russia would have picked it up and we'd have heard about it.
You Screwballs crying "Global Cooling" 40 years ago - what the heck happened to that? you are all NUtS!!!
How is every single media outlet that completely supports the "man-made global warming" theory going to apologize/rationalize their incorrect coverage/support when things go array and the planet cools over the next 10 years? I for one, just want to see this explanations. Wouldn't it be crazy? The single biggest "Ooops, we were wrong" in history! (I love the planet, I think clean environmental policies are good, but man would I love to see the stuttering.)
It is going to happen but Al Gore already has made 10s of millions scaring everyone when the earth just going through cycles ... if you actually believe in global warming hoax you are idiot - if you are perpetuating it for personal gain - you are worse
The better question is, why do you believe its a hoax?
If it is, it would be the grandest conspiracy ever conceived.
You have to work to find information on your side - one off places such as globalwarminghoax.com or petitionproject.com, which, when checked against other sources, are widely and frequently disavowed by the very individuals and groups they cite due to be misquoting and distorting information.
The deniers will drop names such as "MIT scientist such and such", without revealing that the scientist has a degree in an unrelated field, and is not affiliated with the institution beyond having graduated from there anyway. (see the petition project with its "over 9,000 phd's" who are actually medical doctors, veterinarians, and other unrelated "scientists")
I implore to you find any institution backed publications from MIT, Harvard, or Stanford that support your "hoax" position. Ted Kaczynski went to Havard, but Harvard doesn't endorse him. Likewise, the quacks dropping names are not actually endorsed by the names they are dropping.
So these institutions, and NASA, and the National Academy of Sciences, and any other well known credible organization all line up behind a consistent message that global warming is happening and human activity is a significant cause - they are ALL are part of this grand conspiracy?
Really, who is the fool with the blinders on?
It seems so ridiculous that I'd feel badly for having fed the trolls, but the frightening thing is that people actually believe it.
Answer me ONE question In Rush we trust ... Just One ... what happened to the Global Cooling Crisis of the 1970s? Just answer that? The same hysteria was going on back then for a global cooling crisis.

So you can name one person who said it was cooling then but says it's warming now? Or maybe you can cite a serious scientific journal that argued that?
I am saying the "consensus" that word you libs love to use now was saying that we were having a global cooling crisis back then just as we now have a GLOBAL WARMING CONSENSUS now
Do you guys not realize how ridiculous all this is?
Wendell Gee - You have no idea on anything - please!
Fatty, do a google search on your vaunted global cooling from the 70's and you will see that there was no "crisis", and there was little weight or duration associated with it.
Here is a very nice write up about what a crock that is.

Actually I'm not talking to you, since you clearly don't believe anything other than what you've already decided to believe, but rather anyone else who might be reading who would be foolish enough to think for a second anything you say might have a grain of truth.
