Either Wottle in the last straight of the Munich 800, or Baumann in the last straight of the Barcelona 5K. How Baumann blasted through that traffic was incredible; he must have brushed his teeth that morning.
Here's the Dieter Baumann Video. I think he was lubed up with KY!.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3ZZjC-MEHc&feature=relatedYou don't happen to have a video of this, do you? I've heard about this for years, but I've never had the chance to see it.

People keep mentioning Wottle but nobody realizes he didn't sped up but maybe a millisecond or two.

Both are great choices, but for a single performance long kick you must consider Abdi Bile finishing in 1:46.0 at the '87 WC and dropping Cram. The race starts at 6:14 on the link below. Earlier in the link is Bile defeating Coe at the '89 World Cup finishing in :52. Injury after injury or Bile may have gone down as one of the all-time great milers.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8qf95CuubcAlso, those watching Cacho in '92, one of my favorite races, notice the unknown Moroccan going from way back to 2nd/3rd in the last 150 with a kick rivaling Cacho.
Think you'll find Bile's last lap in Barcelona was closer to 51.0 flat!! Last 200m was 24.9

"King of the Kick" will always be Paul Ereng. Watch Olymic final in '88 800m or his world record. Ridic.
Which world record that be?
Do you mean his indoor world best?

I was going to offer up Sage-Keller as well. Fact is, they were even with 400 to go, and were turning out mid-60s each lap; Keller had already run something like 6 sub-9 32s and Sage had run 8.46 the week before. But then they hit the bell and Sage just took off about as fast as I have ever seen anyone run, and left Keller looking like he was jogging- Keller finished in 8.55, for pete's sake. Sage ran 8.42 with a finishing 56 (I think). I have this on video from the TV broadcast and it still amazes me.

Bob Schul never gets enough credit. Billy Mills stole the glory, but Bob's kick was nasty and in the pouring rain:
You beat me to Parilla, that race was amazing and then at Dogwood relays in '92 or '93 ran down Blinn in a 4x8 and perhaps another relay that weekend
LBP to win Penn Relays 4x8 for Columbia a couple years ago
or...
Franklyn Sanchez to outkick Andy Powell in the last lap of the MA 2mile indoor state championships when they went 8:49/8:50.
Dave Wottle 72 Olympics 800 meters.

Too lazy to look up but I assume this is "Billy" Mills.
I don't think anything will ever compare to that kick. His last 100 was so blazingly fast.
without a doubt. Best kick, have you ever seen anyone want it more? My hero Mr. Mills!
