Obviously. Anyone who's read Daniels Running Formula knows all about that (actually, the main factor is the lack of air resistance). But the fact remains that running on a treadmill at 15 miles per hour is no easy task.

I was kidding when I started this. I thought that was obvious. Hopefully you are too. I won't bore everyone with the details, but please, let's not perpetuate the myth
that treadmills are materially easier than over ground running.
At least no one has felt the need yet to wonder if he was running "full" miles or just 1600m.
