Not trolling. We are really being made to run this. The number one girl on the team a few years ago (and the number one boy, but the number one girl is better comparatively) apparently "did something similar" so we are being made to run this to "produce the same results".. the girl has improved a bit in college, the boy is injured right now.
It's crazy. If we slow down or go "off pace" the coach yells at us and either makes us run more or do a crazy drill/plyometric workout. Surprisingly no one on the team, boys or girls, have gotten injured yet but who knows..
After this week, next week we get two "off days", 1 easy day, and the other 4 days are intervals. That's our down week, the week after that we go back to the schedule I described in the opening post.
So my mileage has also dropped because I'm just so tired to run more after doing all of this. I have no idea what to do.. I really want to run well this outdoor season. My times were somewhat fast on the workouts but I feel dead tired and my legs just feel heavy/drag.
