I tell you these people have insulated themselves to ensure they are nearly impossible to get out of office once voted in. Our sport is screwed. About the only option is to break away as the RRCA did, but we all see what good that did. Same crap different name.

Over and above the cost of getting to wherever the meeting takes place, a USATF member has to fork over at least an additional $160 to register for the meeting before they can be considered for an opportunity to vote. The dozen cronies from each association already have that expense, plus transportation and lodging paid for. Will your one vote help to throw the bums out? Look at the odds.
I've seen Hightower in action too many times. She is the croniest of the cronies. All communication with her is one directional. She ain't listening. Of all the cronies that dominate USATF's inner circles, she would be the LAST one I would vote for.
