You all have not tasted anything until you have tasted the sweet, sweet goodness that is Bagel Nosh... "The nosh," to those in the know. It's nestled on the corner of 17th and Wilshire smack in the middle of Santa Monica, in beautiful Southern California.
A Saturday isn't a Saturday, and a Sunday isn't a Sunday until you have had, "the number two with bacon and scrambled, no... wait, make that over medium eggs, and a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese."
My god people, even now, sitting in my cube I can feel the warmth and well being that is brought on after an hour at the Nosh.
EAT IT!!!!
eunice's in huntsville, al
country ham, eggs, biscuits & gravy. just don't go for a coffee refill or you end up serving the whole joint.
I hate to toot my own horn, but I have to give credit where credit is due.
The best breakfast in the country is in my house on Sunday mornings before church, when I whip up some banana and blueberry pancakes with some ham and grapefruit on the side in addition to some fresh-squeezed orange juice!
It's TO DIE FOR.
The now defunct Hotel Silvahoff in Bern, Switzerland. Continental breakfast to die for. Hard rolls with a crispy exterior and warm, soft insides, slathered generously with farm fresh butter and some raspberry preserves. Croissants that practically float on air in all their flaky, buttery glory. A pot of the best hot chocolate around to wash it down.
All of this, served in your room by a curly haired blond named Inge. Delightful.
out in Central PA.
Walk in to a giant barn like restaurant. Grab yourself a giant iron skillet. Fill it with all the eggs, hash, and processed pork products you can eat. All are available in prodigious quantities.
That kind of breakfast makes your skin just feel greasy for a week.
Couer d'Alene, ID

Better come Hungry. Gravy,gravy,gravy.
Eat Rite or Don't Eat at All
Eric's Breakfast Shack in Pontotoc, Mississippi. MAN!! That is some good stuff.
(I'm just making that place up, really. Most of these restaurant names are meaningless to the general public.)
Jimbo's....Wilmington, North Carolina
The sack o' shit stand in Oaxaca, Mexico.
They serve some tasty dog.
Where exactly is it at in Central PA? Unless you're saying just go to any random barn and do that.

No, really, that is definitely a great place - their eggs benedict is one of the best I've ever eaten, and don't leave till you've wolfed down a couple of plates of the juiciest gammon and egg ever to come off a pig (and out of a chicken). Coffee tastes like runny dump though.

The names aren't meaningless. The point of this thread was to give people a heads up on good places to eat after their road races; many of which take them to parts of the country that are unfamiliar to them.
lawoof, i'm with ya on the EB grill, good stuff. mike, hobee's is good, but not the best i've had.

There is this awesome place in Princeton, NJ, right across the street from campus...I forget the name. Great breakfast! Anyone know what I'm talking about?
PJ's...ate there last week.
Joanie's in Palo Alto has the best pancakes and omlettes, perfect for that after long run or Sunday morning race.
Sunday brunch at the Broadmoor.
If you are ever in Belgrade, ME you should stop off at the early bird and have the Blueberry pancakes. A couple a' dollars will get you enough food to last the week.
Also heard Moes Bagels in Boulder is pretty good. By the way , anyone in Boulder know of the Bonderovichs'. I know them well but have broken contact. I believe Mr. Bonderovich is a Chioropractor. Has a son named Alexi. Thanx if you are able to help.
