2x2 mile then a mile... 9:08, 8:40 then 4:09 on grass... that's a pretty studly workout. He's going roll if that workout is any indication of his shape.
Good luck to Mr. Kimani in his racing, he seems like quite a good guy.
I'd also like to compliment slowshoes.com, it looks like you guys are just getting up and running, may the site live long and prosperously.
Get a freakin proofreader!
i might be ignorant, but this guy has either been misquoted or is the MOST AMERICAN-IZED, URBAN-IZED Kenyan EVER...
"those guys are my dogs?"
"tight for real?"
what?
I was thinking the same thing. I don't know whether to believe its real or not. Not that there is any real information in there anyway.
Fo sheezy, dat boy be straight thuggin! Speak on it dawgs!
A lot of Kenyans are like that. It takes about two months of dorm life and they're a totally different person.
Was that an interview with Kimani or Short Dawg? I bet he's throwing back about 1/2 ounce of chronic a week on top of all that training.
yeah, that's the real Kimani! I saw that guy sippin on some gin and juice at the NCAA indoor after party two years ago. Good luck this fall; it should be an epic cross country battle in Indiana.
Considering every whiteboy and their mutha, wants to act and talk like a brotha, for a very sorry but literal reference, is this not the pot calling the kettle black??
Kimani has corn rows. I don't think he was misquoted.
One does not "throw back" THE CHRONIC...one lights it up.
I was pleased to hear about the possibility of him becoming an american citizen. I think it would be awesome to have our olympian 10k be Kimani,Abdi, and Meb. I would be so proud of our american boys. I haven't been this proud since...Platjes won the World Championship in the marathon or maybe it was Maree represented us so proud.
Thats a made-up interview. No Kimani talks like that, atleast not the one who went to Ofafa Jerico High School! Mmmh ... Did you ask him about his Competetion at the Kenyan High School XC Nationals?
USA pride, I can see why you would be frustrated with immigrants representing themselves as real Americans. Now, tell me again, what Native American tribe are you a member of?
Kimani talks like that, I've met him, he's straight up thuggin.
David K. has been in the United States at least 3 years and
being that he is very intelligent it was easy for him to pick up on slang. Also remember that Kimani was raised in a large city in Kenya and had access to television, computers, radio etc.
Dat is off the hook if Special K (Kimani) get in the cut
wit da red, white, and blue in time for da big dances (2003 and 2004)!
Vipam
I am not frustrated I am proud. USA !!! USA !!! USA !!! GO UNITED STATES OF AFRICA
Sorry about the typos, I'm just getting the hang of this web stuff,
The interview was real, the workout was real, and I've seen him run the same workout faster,
Again sorry the web site is not real clean
fo-real,
LG
