Im running a marathon soon and need a good marathon shoe. Im fairly competetive, I run 2:30-2:45 range. I appreciate the input?

Nike Zoom Marathoners are pretty decent racing flats, although they are a little slick in wet conditions.
saucony grid fastwitch 3,
I really love these puppy's.
I just ran a marathon within that range in the lunaracers and I thought they were sweet.
Anyone have any thoughts on the Asics Piranha SP?

I still race in the fastwitch 2. Great shoe for marathons.
Don't go with the Nike Vaporfly's, unless you want horrible PF.

You need the update, 10x better, and I really liked the 2's.

Thanks for the tip Nate. I still have some life in the 2's, but I will go to the 3s next. I run in the 2 Endurance as opposed to the Speed. Do the 3s have an endurance vs speed? Is there really any difference? I run in the Omni Ultimate as I have flat feet and shin problems.
Thanks

I love 'em but I don't think I can go 26.2 in them.
What about the Saucony A2's they're a bit lighter than the fasttwitch
Just curious why you say that? I just got a pair and only have one 5K in them and a few workouts, but they felt pretty sturdy despite them being featherweight.Anyone ever run 26.2 in em??

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
