What kind of lifting, if any is most beneficial for an 800 runner
I am 5'10, 170lbs (I know I am heavy but its a lot of lean muscle and hard to lose)
So i dont want to gain muscle, I just prefer to get stronger. My pr is 203, and thats because my senior year of HS i was battling mono and my freshmen year of college I had an achilles injury.
So if you know a good lifting program that wont make me gain substantial weight it would be appreciated
My coach doesnt seem to know much about lifting, so if you can help out ...thanks!
