For someone that doesn't have seasons every year, that wants to constantly improve, and eventually be great, what is the best way to train?
What methods would be best? Would you train lydiard style? Without having seasons and championships, would that periodization be necessary?
Would the training blocks of Jack Daniels be necessary?
Would a more well rounded, constant progression of training be the way to go? The multi-paced methods of Peter Coe for example?
Canova seems to train runners pretty progressively and constant.
