Last year at the Shootout, Jorge and Dathan finished in a tie for first in 24:58 or something like that. They didn't really try all that hard. Not sure if that is what you meant or not.

I know I am showing my colors here, but I say Woolhouse gets himself in the mix somewhere in that top ten. I wasn't there but heard he ran a very smart race coming from the second pack and getting second place at the Jamboree. Man there are alot of studs that will be there to mix it up in November, should be very interesting! I hope they all stay healthy and we get to see them all there!! Good luck and good health to all! Oh and how about those Bobcats from Montana State!
I believe it will go something like this:
1. Jorge Torres
2. Boaz Chebowio
I believe it will go something like this:
1. Jorge Torres
2. Boaz Chebowio
3. Allistar Cragg
4. David Kimani
5. Don Sage
6. Tom McCardle
7. Steve Slattery
8. Daniel Lincoln
9. Kyle O'Brien
10.Edwardo Torres
Others to watch for:
Ryan Hall, Bobby Lockhart, Alan Horton, Enda Grandfield, Isiah Stafford, Steve Padgett, Chris Reis, Phil Scott, Kip Kangango, Zach Sabatino
Who is Kyle O'Brien?
I'll have to say Jorge looks the best right now. But, Nats are in November.
I think it will definitely go like this:
1. Jorge Torres
2. Kip Kangogo
3. Alistair Craig
4. Some dude I saw race at a big Invitational who looked really fast.
5. Some dude in my conference who I have met, who seems really fast to me.
6. Some dude I raced against in high school who's doing OK in college and seems really fast to me.
I'll say it goes like this....
1. Jorge Torres - Colorado
2. Boaz Cheboywo - Eastern Michigan
3. Alistar Cragg - Arkansas
4. David Kimani - Alabama
5. Kip Kangogo - BYU
6. Ryan Hall - Stanford
7. Jason Woolhouse - Oklahoma State
8. Matthew Tegenkanp - Wisconsin
9. Tom McArdle - Dartmouth
10.Tim Moore - Notre Dame
Don't forget PC's Adam Sutton and Iona's Peter Riley.
Is there really any doubt...the boy wonder from CU who just broke Adams record gets my vote.
I like your picks, but I think it calling Moore and Lockhart sleepers is a bit much. They are talented and running well, but they are in the league of the guys mentioned above(not yet anyway). I think they could be somewhere in that 25 -35 range.
I predict Sage will not do that well (4) also, based on no evidence what-so-ever.
Peace out
I'd like to point out that Cragg has never beaten Kimani in anything ever. Last year's XC Nats don't count of course, b/c Kimani got injured. But in all races they've run together, Kimani wins every single time. I am too lazy to look up just what the all time record is, but I'm sure it's more than 10-0. Having said that, I would like to say that Cragg is an absolute beast and I have a lot of respect for him. But I don't see him beating Kimani in anything.
It was said earlier and I'll say it again
Kimani=DNF
If anyone beside Kimani, Boaz, or Torres win it will be
a great upset. There are plenty of SUPER collegians running; however, those three in my opinion are a notch
above everyone else in the 10000m XC.
Boaz is a man running against a bunch of little boys.
How many times does he have to kick everyones ass in big races to shut you dreamers up.
Much like Cragg and Lincoln and Teg and Spiker, it goes Mobley then Moore. So if you want Moore 10th, that's Mobley at 9th. At least for now...
