Why do you angry assholes have to ruin every thread? 'jrun 'asked a rhetorical question to prompt 'alum' to re-think his stance.
Take a chill pill man.
Yea! South Carolina isn't last in something!

Actually, neither is true because that ratio is based on each states current population and doesn't include all persons who have ever lived in each state or the USA.

You live up to your handle - in spades.

Perhaps, but who do you credit him to? Washington?

But wouldn't Tegenkamp count for Missouri, based on the criteria used for this list? He grew up there and went to HS there. He went to Wisconsin for college, and then stayed in Madison to train with Schumacher. When he left, he followed him to Portland. So I would think he would consider Missouri his "home state".
Need to add Tony Jordanek to the Ohio total, rand 3:58.xx at the armory in March and 3:59 at the Music City Distance Carnival last week:

Centrowitz Jr is from Maryland and has gone sub 4. I am surprised Malmo missed someone from his own state. Stroup has run 3:38.85 1500m @ east regionals in NYC many years ago.
Also im shocked no one has said this yet.... GERMAN FERNANDEZ of cali isnt on this list

I was just thinking the same....
Michael Coe, Mark Matusak, and Steve Sodaro from Cal all have broken 4. All of their home-states are California.
This thread is from 2008.
not sure where Kyle King is from originally, but he went sub-4 for the first time at the Music City Distance Carnival (4th in the race) on Saturday night in Nashville.
What country is German Fernandez from?
