Years ago I was into bodybuilding and gaining muscle mass or keeping it there from running are probably alike. Your body probably needs a lot more protein, carbohydrates, and fat now that your running so many miles or you could get into a catabolic state.
This is my opinion and mine alone and If others disagree so be it.
Drink at least a half gallon of 2% fat milk a day. Each cup contains 9 grams protein, 11 grams carbs, and 3 grams of fat. I drink it by the pint and if you can then the above figures are doubled and the calories go way up.
Next is Apple juice. Apples juice contains 28 grams of carbs per 8oz. or cup, zero fat or protein, 35mg. sodium, and 260 mg potassium. I also drink this by the pint to.
When I don't feel like eating I can always drink something and these are two very good sources of liquid Macronutrients without buying the so expensive supplements.
Spread this out over the day and into the night. I wash my gatoraide jugs in the dishwasher then take a qt. of each to work and consume it during the day. I also drink even more milk and juice after I run. This works for me but whatever road you take good luck....
