Just make sure that you tell every prospective employer exactly what you've told us, word for word. If you do, I can guarantee you that you won't find yourself "getting a regular 9-5, working like a hampster [sic] all day for a crappy salary."
Where are these great jobs that only make you work 9-5 from monday-friday???
Find something your passionate about (Golf?), find a job in that field and go for it. Who gives a shit if it doesn't pay well, do what makes you happy at the end of the day.
