Just wanted to see who does a weekly long run, speed/tempo session, recovery runs, etc. but does not race but rather just do the training for the sheer enjoyment.

To me it's not training. I just love running.
I would count me in on this. I do a weekly "long" run of about 90 minutes, a weekly session 300m repeats and a tempo run/tempo repeats. I just run 45-50 minutes the other days of the week.
I raced on Thanksgiving the last 2 years because it's 3/4-mile from the house. Other than that, I've run maybe 1 other race in the last 3 years.
I can still crank it down pretty good, but I just don't have the interest in paying $20 for a 5K race.
I dont' race too much (once last year - 1:56 for 30km at age 43), but try to maintain a good workload anyway. First off I have a crappy job and don't make too much, secondly, there aren't many employment opportunities where I come from but most importantly, I'll do time trails on the track alone and feel just as satisfied as a race ever made me feel. If my circumstances changed I might race more, but if it doesn't bother me, then why not?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
