I was wondering which of the following workouts would be more benefitial then the other for a up and coming Half Marathon in 2 1/2 weeks. I'm a 31:30 10k guy right now.I've been running 90 miles a week, 15+ mile long runs.
The workouts to choose from are as followed:
400-800-1200-1600-1200-800-400 w/3 1/2 min rest
(400 at 68-69, 800 at 2:18-2:20, 1200 at 3:31-33,1600 at 4:45)
-OR-
3200-3200-1600-1600-3200-3200 w/3 1/2- 4 1/2 min rest
(3200 at 10:05-10:15) (1600 at 4:50-4:55)
-OR-
4k -3k -2k -1k w/ 5min,4min,3min rests
(4k at 12:40, 3k at 9:30, 2k at 6:20, 1k at 3:10)
Which one of these workouts would i benefit from more then the other with a Half Marathon just 2 1/2 weeks away?
