Not inspired enough to care to get her name right? Oh yeah, Francis is a male name.

I have found that the Johnson's can either not type or not spell. Maybe they are dyslexic, but attention to spelling details does not seem to be a priority.
Lighten up, Francis.
wow, you guys are stiffs. it's just a small, insignificant typo. they were giving her some love by putting her on the front page. lighten up.
They copied/pasted the quote, why wouldn't they just do the same with the name so they don't fvck up on their front page once again? It's a backhand to use a boy's name instead of hers.
They got Famiglietti's steeplechase time wrong, too.
Actually, her name is France's Coons.

Here's what you meant to say in a private email to the Brojos:
Brojos, thanks for giving Ms. Koons some attention and props on your front page regarding her inspirational story and fast run at Penn. I would like to point out, however, that her name is spelled "Frances," not "Francis." Thanks for everything you do for our sport.
But instead, you post a bitchy thread on the message board and come off as an unappreciative dickhead. But this is letsrun, afterall, so par for the course.
I would think that irrespective of the spelling, the most important thing is to give Frances her due. I am really, really impressed - and not just that she is running again, but doing so at such a high level. She got sent down a difficult road and is doing something well and by which she expresses herself. Can't say enough good about her.

Her story is inspiring and I am glad it has been posted. I underwent a radical nephrectomy two years losing my left kidney due to a 177 gram renal cell carcinoma and I know what she has gone through and wish her continued good health and successful running.
Hey Rojo, how about you teach your guys how to steal the Heptagonal 4x400 victory by tripping up the team ahead of them! Great victory you had there.

Errr, he doesn't coach the 4 x 4 guys. And if he did, it's doubtful his pre-race advice would be "... and if anybody's ahead of you, trip 'em."
And this is relevant to Frances Koons how?
