Anyone else ever suffer from this and have any tips to make it go away/release the nerves quicker? I'm finding it uncomfortable to walk on and difficult to run on, especially when first setting off.

I went to a chiropractor initially and after a few adjustments, most of the pain had subsided. There's an exercise I do in the mornings now to keep it in check. It involves placing a ball about a foot or so in diameter between my knees. I then wrap a band around my knees. Laying on my back, I press the knees together hard against the ball for about 15 seconds, then immediately press them outward against the band for another 15 seconds. 3 reps in the morning seems to keep the pain at bay. Not sure if this'll help you, but it works for me.
Thank you, I'll give that a go. A basketball should be ok to use as the ball right?
I went to a chiropractor. A half dozen adjustments and some exercises. It took me six weeks to get back to normal. I stopped running but I would play basketball once a week. I'm sure that didn't help. I feel like a champ now.
