that hurts...
Let it go, Jackie Z. You effed up.
he sucks b/c two of his athletes ran poorly? doubtful. did you not see that one of his women won a heat in the steeple? guess not.
i don't know either of the athletes in question, but i do know that they traveled. seeing as their times are pedestrian, it leads me to believe that they are younger guys (frosh/ soph) and have little to no experience with traveling and racing. now, i don't know Colorado's itenerary, but i'm willing to bet that they flew into LA yesterday, fought LA traffic and had a late night getting to their hotel--that's how it always goes. they could have nerves, travel jitters, whatever. not everyone at this meet will have that, but traveling does induce a slight level of fatigue.
he is an AWESOME coach....but he may have the worst hair

lol...seriously! why do people try to tear the guy down, he has proven himself a few times over, leave it be. no freakin comes on here and rips on vigil, pretty sure wetmore is up there with the best. he just is a college coach, not a post collegiate coach. i am sure he could be an amazing coach at any level.
and no, what does the portland coach's hair look like, i am afraid to ask...
3rd to Dan McClimon and Jerry Schumacher
To paraphrase another coach, Wetmore can't put in what God left out.
Adam Goucher-nat'l champ
Jorge Torres-nat'l champ
Dathan Ritzenhein-nat'l champ

Do you mean went to Colorado? Dathan is from Michigan.
Yeah, and Torres is from Illinois.
Colorado aka University of Colorado aka CU

Spelling out the obvious? Hate to break it to you but he said the last three hs champs and college champs, came from Colorado.
A footlocker champion from Michigan can't come from Colorado. (unless obviously if he was originally born there). Colorado has nothing to do with them being HS champs.
The last 3 men who were hs and college champs went to colorado.

portland state or university of portland? i checked, and both seem to have decent hair.
what coach, D-1 through NAIA, heck, even JC, has the best hair? maybe that should be a new thread: Track/ XC Coaches with the best hair.
Heck ya Medina... Great race 13:51 as a freshman, not bad, not bad at all. Will see your little bro at regionals, as well as your HS coach.
He was saying (albeit not entirely clearly) that the hs champs who went on to be college champs all went through Colorado. Nobody said that they were hs champs because they went to Colorado, except you.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
