I've been toying around with the idea of going for an ultra running record for a long time now. My name is Alex and I'm a runner from the Boston area in Mass. I'm 19 years old and I've run 7 marathons since I early 2005. My intention was to run a fall marathon for a good time when I came across a list of ultra-running records on usatf.com. The 50,000M track American Junior record is 4:21:09. I've run 30 miles before and I have no doubts in that I could beat this record. I'd really like to try maybe 7:15 per mile (easy pace on long runs is about 7:30 anyway). The problem is, the distance ( 50K ) is rarely raced on the track anymore. If ANYONE out there knows of a track 50k please let me know. I live in Massachusetts but I am willing to travel across the country to get a shot at this. I've got a whole summer of slacking off to fill and I'll take any race from next week to the end of August. The record must be set in a race with officials and the whole deal according to this form

.
Please help! I have the upmost respect for this record but I need to take a crack at it. I'll never run a 15 minute 5K or a 4:00 1500, but I AM crazy enough to run 7:15 pace on a track for 31.075 miles.
