were are results?
I don't think there are results up yet, but here is the article from Chico State
Yeah results aren't up yet, but in the mile Scott won and Lyle Weese was about 4:02 for 2nd place. can't recall the other names and times at the moment, but 3rd place was about 4:04. in the 10k Joel Hamilton ran an awesome race in about 29:39, meet and stadium record, congrats to him. can't remember who was 2nd but 2nd place was around 30:15. Joel had a pretty dominating last 2 miles and broke away for the win.
Katherine McCarthy from Grand Valley had a very impressive weekend as well, 2:09 in the 800m to lead the nation and roughly 4:32 to win the 1500m the next night. 2nd place was Chico's Sarah Montez (15th at xc nats), who ran roughly 4:32-33. The men's 15 was won in roughly 3:52-53. Went out slow in around 63-64 though.
It was a great meet all around, there was a massive crowd for the invite mile. When scotts 3:59.8 was called out over the loudspeaker there was a loud roar from the crowd, it was pretty exciting.
that's the article
Results are here for the whole meet if anyone would like to take a look

Great Job!!!
Great Job!!! It would be interesting to know when the last time a CCAA runner went under 4 in a full mile.
Probably Assuma from UCR in the early eighties.
Anyone know whats up with Kyle Ivie?
anybody have a list of D2's all-time fastest miles?
Assumma ran 3:56 back in the early 80's (81 I think). I don't know of any other CCAA runner to break 4:00 for a mile. Little known fact, Frank Assumma was the first runner to break 4:00 indoors on English soil.
Clarification - other CCAA runners have broken 4:00 post graduation. Danny Aldredge and Joe Frabris to name a few but I don't think any did while still in college.
Playin Beer pong and online sports fantasy games
HAHA. certainly not winning online sports fantasy games thats for sure.
In the early 80s Cal Poly Pomona had a couple of guys right at 4:00/3:42 -- Is that CCAA and did they make it?
