I just heard of a woman training for Oly trials and is running 240 mile weeks. I am in disbelief. I thought the big guns were running around 130-140 mile weeks. 240??? Maybe it's more common than I realize. Thoughts?

Who is it?
That's 34.3 miles everyday for 7 days of the week. I'm guessing that's in doubles?
I don't know how someone can run that many miles and still be competitive. esp a female. With the tempo runs and intervals that you have to include to run well it almost seems impossible. i don't think anyone would need or should be running more than 160/week. but i guess some people are not so human
Westerling, who has logged over 2,000 training miles over the last 10 weeks.

What happened to that William and Mary lady who was running all the miles. She was right at a marathon a day for a bit. I thought there was a thread out there somewhere but can't find it.
Without details this is a non-topic.
