I believe if any of these marks are reached, we will go "wow!"
10k: sub 26
5k: sub 4 min avg
800: sub 1:40
marathon: sub 2:00.00

10k: sub 26

800: sub 1:40
marathon: sub 2:00.00
In terms of difficulty:
10K
marathon
5K/800m
really? i think sub 1:40 is by far the hardest, followed by the 5k, then closely the 10k and then the marathon.
I thought this was a post about steeple chase....
Really? i would say of those the marathon will be the last to go, followed by the 10k, 5k, and then the 800.
Here are the percent drops in time needed to reach those times from the WR right now:
10k: 1.08%
5k (Assume you mean 12:30): 0.96%
800: 1.1%
Marathon: 3.55%
Now if someone could drop the other events at a rate comprable to the marathon off the current WRs you would have the following records:
10k: 25:22
5k: 12:10
800: 1:37.5
Marathon: 1:59:59
The marathon is not going to happen, 5k seems to be the most likely to go as of right now (assuming you mean 4:00 1600 pace).
