No idea what this is: started off as simple hamstring tightness (way up high near the gluteus) when doing faster stuff. Then it progressed to being tight at the beginning of every run... Then it was tight if I simply sat in a chair for an extended period of time. Since then I've taken time off, and nothing seems to have changed, as I still can't bend over and touch my toes while keeping the left leg straight:
-Saw a doctor, who couldn't palpate it when he pushed on my ischial tuberosity,
-Saw an ART practitioner who thought it was adhesions between my adductor and hamstring that was making the hamstring as tight as it was,
-I've been trying to strengthen the hamstrings with eccentric drills and curls, but to no avail
Is it not responding to time off because I tried to push through it by running for so long, or what?
Anybody ever have anything like this? Advice? Thanks...
