A friend mentioned reviving the women's training thread, so here goes: Letsrun women, how's it going? Post your goals, your training, or anything else you'd care to share about your running week here.
I confess, I've been off this board for a while after getting a diagnosis of breast cancer back in January. That's been a bit of a distraction, as you can imagine. But even though I'm not looking to compete (even at my modest, local level) in the coming year, running is still a HUGE source of stress relief and just pure enjoyment. Getting out for a short, slow jog a week after my surgery felt like a major accomplishment. (It also felt like I was running with a golf ball in my armpit, from all that surgical rooting around in my lymph nodes.)
Time to hear how the rest of you ladies are doing . . .
