I AM A GOLDEN GOD!
because all of you naysayers really know what german likes and everything....
While I have never been to OSU, they are one of the up and coming distance schools. They have a great head coach, which probably had a lot to do with his decision.

Not arguing with the hot streak OSU cross country is showing, but keep in mind that this is a program that has qualified for the NCAA meet every year but one since 1993, and finished third in 1995 and fourth in 1996.
They are also signing Kevin Williams from Colorado, who is one of the best distance runners in the country and was 26th at Foot Locker Nationals. Williams is great friends with Bobby Nicolls as well. Nicolls is the top returnee from Foot Locker Nationals for next year. You can bet that Wetmore is a little pissed that OSU got the top senior in Colorado this year, and they might also snag the top Colorado kid next year.
If he can manage not getting hurt in stillwater as almost all of them have they will be good for sure
Actually, Kevin Williams signed with Oklahoma, NOT Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma State men have been to Nationals fourteen out of the last fifteen years. They have had 24 cross-country All-Americans and 26 academic All-Americans. They have had ten academic All-American cross-country teams in a row. During this time they finished third twice and fourth once. Last year their track team had the second highest GPA in all Division I teams in the United States. In the past six years over 48% of the team members have gotten graduate degrees. I wonder why anybody would select a team like that? P.S. It is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma and in the next four years there will be over $400 million being spent on new athletic facilities. I wonder why??
I wonder if this has anything to do with all those academic All-Americans...
Just kidding, I for one think that he will do well at OSU. There is nothing like sensory deprivation to help zero in on what's really important: running fast...
Colorado's days are clearly numbered...
Now if they could just get out of those Halloween colors and whacked logo...

this statement is pretty stupid, who from OSU has gotten hurt this year?
who from OSU is going to Nationals in fayetteville this weekend? Better yet, who from there ran a provisional time this year? One guy? I heard that if you're not fast, they make you do intervals a couple days in a row every week and you'll either get really fast or get destroyed ...I also heard that if you arn't running at least 120 miles a week they get really pissed at you and threaten to kick you off ...
OSU is a black hole for kid's who are not foreigners ... if you're home grown from the USA and you go there, don't expect to improve ever ...
It sounds like there are some real jealous people on here. Are you Oregoners still upset that Ryan Vail went to OK St & has been running so well?
Vail was hurt, jankowski was hurt, gray had been hurt, alot of their top guys the last few years get hurt. who cares that 400 million goes into facilities, that does not change roads into trails or horrible fields into nice ones. Just means your football team will have a nice stadium

yeah, their coach should realize that this sport is running and not football, 99% of runners go their whole college career without any type of injury ... duh ...
yeah, but top athletes get hurt. it's pretty inevitable. tegenkamp, ritzenhein, webb, schoolmeester, rupp, withrow, solinsky, and many other top athletes from a variety of top collegiate running programs have been injured at one point or another in their college careers, and it isn't really fair to say that fernandez will be any more likely to be hurt if he goes to ok state than if he were to sign with iona, colorado, wisconsin, or some other school. a lot goes into how the athlete trains himself when he's not supervised by a coach. tegenkamp did it to himself, and i'm sure other runners have too. unless your fernandez' mother, father, brother, sister, coach, or priest, just let the chips fall where they may.
stupid choice..should have went with iona

yeah, then next year he could be good enough to get 2nd at Junior Nationals .... oh wait ...
Kids don't get better at OSU??? Lets look at it none of the guys they currently have on their team were footlocker guys, yet they seem to do pretty well. As I remember two years ago when they got 8th their top five were American guys. I also heard that a few years ago they had some miler who started his career as a 4:46 guy and ran 4:03 as a senior, think that might qualify as improvement....

What is the most stupid running advice you've ever heard?🤣(It can be funny)
Are Asics, Saucony, and New Balance envious of Brooks, Hoka ,and On?
