Here is the situation, I got a bad side stitch training for a half marathon in November. It caused me to walk-jog the last three mile of the race and I’ve had abdominal problems ever since. Meaning, every time I do run, even at a slow pace, I feel as if a stitch is going to come on or some other combination of discomfort. Now, I’ve been to the Dr., had blood work and a Cat scan and everything came back normal. I’ve essentially stopped running but still feel the issue even when lying down. My question is, has anyone had an ongoing problem like this? If so, what did you do to heal it? Obviously rest is the logical cure, but even after the layoff, it still doesn’t feel right. Could a muscle of ligament be torn? Thanks.
