The ACC is on now. Anyone know if the PAC 10 will be on later?

I meant MPSF championships of course.
No, but runnerspace.com is here shooting video, if that helps!
Will they be posting the vid's real time?
I wished someone took video of the women's 5k...

The women's 5k takes a long time to upload, so it won't go up until later tonight.
Yes, RunnerSpace is there -
http://www.runnerspace.com/mpsfThe meet isn't in real time, but hopefully we will get most of the races up today.
Just posted the Men's mile and the Women's mile is almost done:

Thanks for doing it!
yes... jj
The women's mile was a bit faster!
I went to see the MPSF meet the last two days, and I swear I heard the PA announcer say "BOOMSHAKALAKA" three times during the meet--once when UW's Norris Frederick popped a monster jump in the long jump; another when the Arizona State shot putter threw 70 feet; and a third time at the end of the meet when the Stanford pole vaulter broke their school record.
He also seems to get into it during distance races...he's either a major league track geek or a frustrated disc jockey; in any event, I left the meet feeling entertained.
Any idea who this fool is?
I was also at the meet and thought the announcer was pretty funny. Props to UW for putting on a quality meet.
no live vids. only groupie websites covered it.
The announcer is Paul Merca, I wish every announcer was as entertaining!

What is a groupie website?
Thanks for all the nice words about what I do at the UW meets. I try and strike a balance between the hard core track geek, the athletes' friends that have never been to a meet in their life, mom and dad wanting to see their kid compete, and the fan rooting for the Huskies.
I'm fortunate enough to have been exposed to some of the best PA announcers in our sport, like Bob Hersh, Garry Hill, Frank Zarnowski, Scott Davis, and my old college coach, Dixon Farmer. I have learned a lot from these guys, and continue to do so. One thing you can't accuse these guys of not doing is their homework on athletes.
I also try to take the best from some of the top play-by-play guys in television and incorporate it into the meet, as long as it's relevant.
Believe it or not, a month or so before the start of the indoor season, I will go buy a ticket to a Seattle Sonics game up in the cheap seats, and practice doing play by play using only the program and the info on the scoreboard. That helps me learn to think on my feet.
Again, thank you.
The TrackShark photo gallery has a Paul Merca shot...second one in the group.
only a groupie would post such a ridiculous pic
